Itinerary – Highlights
Sun. Schedule your departure to coincide with arrival into Israel on Monday. There will be one group pick up at the airport and this will be determined by the majority of the people arriving at the same time.
Mon. Arrival into Israel. Group transfer to NYX Hotel in Herzlia. After check in feel free to explore the area, walk the beach promenade, enjoy the amenities of the hotel, relax and then prepare to meet the group for dinner.
Tue. – “Halutzim” – today we will learn about the Zionist pioneers. Walk the Independence Trail and pass the states major landmarks – Beit Haatzmaut, Hagana Museum, Bank of Israel, and the first Houses of Tel Aviv. Enjoy the arts and crafts fair at Nahalat Binyamin Street, continue to Old Jaffa and then to the Peres Innovation Center to learn about the cutting edge Israeli innovations – the pioneers of today.
Wed. Check out of Herzlia hotel. Start the day at the Appolonia National Park in Herzlia – from Royal Purple and Glass to Crusader ruins and British police this sites gives us a glimpse of the importance of the Coastal Plain. From here we will drive north on the Via Maris to our next stop at Tel Yokneam (from the days if Joshua to modern times) – the gateway to the Jezreel Valley, enjoy the view and the ruins. We will then continue to our tour with a visit to Seakura Noam Alexander Stream – a startup eco-friendly seaweed farm that explores marine life and it’s benefits in this amazing new tourist center were we will learn about marine farming and healing products. Overnight in Kibbutz Lavi Hotel.
Thu. Tour Kibbutz Lavi. Drive to the Lebanese border and meet with Eitan from Malkiya for a geopolitical tour. We will bring snacks for the soldiers guarding the area. From here we will travel to Tzefat and learn about the Golden Age of this mystical city, with time to do some exploring on our own before we take a visit to R. Shimon Bar Yochai tomb in Meron. Return to Kibbutz Lavi Hotel.
Fri. Free day to explore Tiberias, we will provide a bus to Tverya where you can visit the ancient ruins and Meir Baal HaNess Kever as well as others in the area. Optional boat ride on the Kinneret or enjoy lunch at one of the many lakeside cafes.
Sat. Shabbat Shalom at Kibbutz Lavi. Enjoy a tranquil Shabbat in the mountains.
Sun. Checkout of Kibbutz Lavi and drive to Beit Shan to explore this ancient Roman town. We will continue to the Dead Sea area where we will float in the sea and take a short hike in Ein Gedi and take in the view from Massada. Drive to Jerusalem to check into the Kings Hotel for the remainder of the tour.
Mon. Start the day off with a visit to the Kotel to spend some special time davening there. We will continue to Ir David to the newly discovered streets and structures in the historic City of David. Walk through the Cardo and visit the Plugat Batter Museum. A day of exploration of our ancient roots in this ancient capital of ours.
Tue. We will start the day in Hevron – the Cave of Machpela, we will discuss Avrahams first real estate transaction and the long history of the Jewish community in Hevron. The area of Gush Eztyon was the breadbasket of Jerusalem during the days of the Fitst and Second Temple; the devasting results of the Bar Kochvah revolt ended the Jewish presence in the Gush until the beginning of the 20th Century. Three times the area was settled but on the day of the Declaration of the State of Israel the Gush fell, nineteen years later, after the Six Day War, Israel was able to return to this area – we will have a driven tour of the Gush and visit the Kfar Etzyon Museum dedicated to this story and learn of this amazing history of the area. We will end the day at Kever Rachel.
Wed. Our Tanach & Mishna will come alive today with a otur of the Philistine Museum in Ashdod, a visit to Yavne the tomb of Rban Gamliel. A visit to the Hesder Yeshiva in Kiryat Gat with lunch in the area. Continue to Tel Lacish to combine Tanach history and archeology emphasizing the story of the Assyrian conquest in the days of King Hezehayah.
Thu. We will visit the Herzl Museum to learn about the beginning of the Zionist movement, our tour will end just outside the Knesset at the famous Menorah, engraved with major historical moments from our long journey home. Visit the Stalagmite Caves and the Latrun Tank Museum. Evening drop off at the airport for return flight home. For those opting to extend their visit the bus will return to the King Hotel.
** For those wishing to extend their stay until after Shabbat the additional price will include the hotel stay with Shabbat meals until check out Motzeh Shabbat. Enjoy a free day Friday exploring Jerusalem, revisiting sites, having coffee in many of the cafes like Israelis do Friday afternoons, last minute shopping, etc.

2 Days of Touring
April 9. We will start the day with the panoramic view of the Old City at the Haas Promenadeand then on to Rachel’s Tomb to visit and pray. Then drive to the village of Sussia and begin to explore this ancient city and area dating back to the Talmudic times. From here we will continue to Hevron to the Cave of Machpela with the unique chance of visiting the whole site – open only ten days a year! On our way back we take a driven tour through Gush Etyzon
April 10. Our Tanach and Mishna will come alive today as we make our way towards Ashdod with Tanach in hand stopping along the way to see where many of the events took place bringing it all together with a tour of the Philistine Museum in Ashdod. We will visit Yavne the famous Torah Center from the Roman times and the tomb of Raban Gamlil. We will stop for lunch in the area and then continue on to Tel Lacish to combine Tanach history and archeology emphasizing the story of the Assyrian conquest in the days of King Hezekayah.

Itinerary – Highlights
Sun. Apr. 23 Schedule your departure to coincide with arrival into Israel on Monday April 24 at about 11:00am. If you arrive on an earlier flight please make yourself comfortable at one of the airport cafes and wait for the bus. If you arrive after the pick up time you can try to meet up with us at one of our stops or take a taxi to the hotel.
Mon. Apr. 24 Arrival into Israel. Group pickup at the airport. We will start the trip off with a visit to the renewed Nili Spy Museum in Zichron Yaakov. Stop for lunch and enjoy some free time in the picturesque town of Zichron Yaakov. Drive to Ramot Hotel in the Golan Heights and check into our hotel. In the evening we will join a ceremony for Yom HaZicaron commemorating those who fell defending the State of Israel.
Tue. Apr. 25 Yom Hazicaron – Memorial Day. Tel Saki – Yom Kippur War Memorial pay a short visit to this special place to remember the soldiers who fought and died in this area. Continue on to Gamla – where the first war againts the Romans began so many centuries before. Travel to OZ 77 where one of the bitterest battles of the Yom Kippur War was fought, where we will join in a special Memorial Service. In the evening we will attend festive Yom HaAtzmaut prayers. Overnight in Ramot Hotel.
Wed. Apr. 26 Happy 75th Birthday Israel – Spring is a beautiful time in the Golan and we will spend the day enjoying the natural wonders and sites in the Golan Heights, with optional jeeping in the area. We will visit the ancient Talmudic Synagogue at Ein Kshatot to learn about Jewish life during this time. Overnight in Ramot Hotel.
Thu. apr. 27 Check out of the hotel. Today we will visit the Reut Museum in Metzudat Koach in the Naftali Mountains. This is a museum dedicated to the historical battles fought by the IDF in the area. We will receive a special geopolitical tour of the Lebanese border area and learn about our northern security. Stop for a tour at one of the local wineries and enjoy a tasting. End the day exploring the mystical city of Tzefat and then make our way to Kibbutz Lavi and check into the hotel.
Fri. Apr. 28 Start the morning off touring the historical areas in Tiberias, with a visit to Magdala Archeological Site – one of the oldest synagogues. Optional boat ride on the Kinneret. Return to Kibbutz Lavi and prepare for Shabbat.
Sat. Apr. 29 Shabbat Shalom – Tour of Kibbutz Lavi
Mon. May 1 Start the day at the Kotel, enjoy the new Great Bridge Tunnel Tour, explore new sites in the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon we will take a tour of Nebi Samuel and visit the Sanhedrin tombs.
Tue. May 2 Jerusalem the Capitol – A visit to Government Hill – From the Supreme Court through the Rose Garden to the Knesset a journey through our modern city to learn how far we have come in 75 years. We will visit the bird sanctuary and see some new and old highlights of Israel Museum. End the day exploring the aromas of Shuk Mahane Yehuda.
Wed. May 3 Start the day at the Shaar Hagai Interactive Museum, on our way to Tel Aviv we will make a stop at the newly opened Mosaic in Lod. Once in Tel Aviv will walk the Independence Trail and pass the States major landmarks.
Thu. May 4 Mitzpe Yericho viewpoint. Travel down to Kumeran – the place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were first discovered. Spend some time floating in the Dead Sea before visiting an agricultural farm with argan and dates. End the day at Mount Scopus.
Fri. May 5 Free day to enjoy the city as you wish.
Sat. May 6 Shabbat Shalom. Evening transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for return flight back home to arriving on Sun. morning May 7.

Itinerary – Highlights
Sun. Departure on ELAL LY#002 from JFK or Elal from Miami
Mon. Arrival into Ben Gurion and group transfer to Jerusalem hotel.
Tue. We will start the day in Hevron – the Cave of Machpela, we will discuss Avrahams first real estate transaction and the long history of the Jewish community in Hevron. We will have a chance to visit the Ancient Tek, newly opened to the public. The area of Gush Eztyon was the breadbasket of Jerusalem during the days of the First and Second Temple the devasting results of the Bar Kochvah revolt ended the Jewish presence in the Gush until the beginning of the 20th century. Three times the area was settled but on the day of the Declaration of the State of Israel the Gush fell, 19 years later, after the 6 Day war, Israel was able to return to this area. We will have a driven tour of the Gush and will be able to drive (optional) ATV’s along our fore fathers route. We will end the day at Kever Rochel.
Wed. Old City – Start with the new tour of the Kotel new tunnels, enjoy the new Great Bridge route that will take us to new finds and rooms from the Second Temple, Roman Theatre and more. We will end the day overlooking Jerusalem from Nebi Samuel and have an in-depth tour of the site visit the Sanhedrin Tombs. Optional – evening Light & Sound show.
Thu. We will start the day at Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum and Memorials. After this we will drive to the new interactive Shaar Hagai National PArk and learn about the battle for the road to Jerusalem during the War of Independance. Then we will continue to the new Lod Mosaic, just opened to the public to see the amazing floor of a home from the Talmudic period.
Fri. Beit El and Shiloh – during the years following Joshua’s conquest of the Canaan the spiritual and political center of the Israelites was in Shiloh, today one of the sites that best brings to life the biblical stories, we will have an indepth tour of the Biblical Tel. Then travel to Beit El to the traditional place of Jacobs Dream.
Sat. Shabbat Shalom – day of rest.
Mon. Malkiya geopolitical tour of Lebanese Border – meet with Eitan to learn about life on the border. Bring treats to the soldiers and understand the threats and opportunities in this region. Enjoy a nature walk at one of the Jordan tributaries and end the day on the Jordan River (optional kayaking). Return to Kibbutz Lavi Hotel.
Tue. Start the day off exploring the mystical city of Tzfat were we will have a chance to explore the city and have some free shopping time. After this we will enjoy wine tasting in one of the Upper Galil Wineries and end the day at Meiron and the Tomb of R. Shimon Bar Yochai. Overnight at Kibbutz Lavi Hotel.
Wed. Checkout of Kibbutz Lavi. Start the day with a tour of Zippori National Park – Home of R. Yehudah Hanasi. We will continue to the Wilfrid Israel Museum in Kibbutz Hazorea to learn about a special hero from the Holocaust, then onto Haifa to enjoy a ride on the new cable car with great views of the Bay. Drive along the coast Netanya and check into the Leonardo Plaza Hotel in Netanya for the remainder of your stay.
Thu. We will start the day at Seakura visitor center – dedicated to the Mediterranean Sea and growing seaweed as the food of the future. We will continue to Kibbutz Sdot Yam to learn about Channa Shenesh. In the early afternoon we will travel to Jerusalem to participate in the viewing of the Yom Yerushalem Day parade and the festivities in the area. Early evening return to Netanya.

Mon. Arrival into Israel, (or if in Israel already, make your way to Jerusalem) group transfer to Jerusalem and check into the hotel to unpack, relax or start to explore the city on your own, prepare to meet the group for dinner.
Tue. Jerusalem of Old – enjoy the view of the Old City from Mt. Scopus. Participate in the Emek Tzurim sifting project, revealing artifacts from the City of David. Drive to teh Jewish Quarter and tour the ancient sites, stopping for lunch in the area then going on to spend some spiritual time at the Kotel. End the day in the City of David and Hezekeyas Water Tunnel (bring water proof shoes and flashlights). Optional evening sound and light sound.
Wed. Desert Day – Early start to the day as we drive towards the lowest point on earth to explore the area. After a short hike at Ein Gedi we will continue to Massada Mountains Fortress. We will end the day trying to swim (float) in the Dead Sea. Optional camel riding opportunity.
Thu. Start the day with a short visit to Kever Rochel (Rachel’s Tomb) and continue to Hevron and the Cave of Machpela, then to Gush Etzyon. The Alone Tree, we will learn about the Shmita experience and have time for optional ATVS on Derech Haavot, Deerland rope course (optional zip line).
Fri. Binyamin Region – Extensive tour of Shilo – site of Mishkan, we will tour the ancient Tel and see a movie about its history then to Beit El to view Jacob Dreams Site, and visit the animals at the “Chavat Efrayim” Zoo. Enjoy the afternoon on your own at Machane Yehudah. Return to hotel to prepare for Shabbat.
Sat. Shabbat Shalom
Mon. Golan Adventure. Start the day off with optional rafting on the Jordan River or jeeping in the area. Continue to the Hazbani Stream for a nature walk and to explore the natural beauty of the place. Drive up to Malkiya to meet Eitan for a geopolitical tour – meet with soldiers and bring them snacks experience living on the Lebanese border.
Tue. Check out of the hotel and take an early morning tour of the kibbutz, before continuing to Tzefat to explore the area with hands on activities and learn about the Golden Age of this mystical city. We will have a special visit to Otzer haStam in honor of the Bar and Bat Mitzvahs meet a sofer StaM and write. Drive via the Upper Galil to the Rosh Hanikra Grottoes, continue down the coast to Netanya and overnight in the city.
Wed. We will have an early start and drive to Atlit – we will tour the British Detention Camp and reconstructed Maapilim Boat. Then on to Zichron Yaakov an 1882 village were we will enjoy lunch. Explore the ancient Roman city of Ceasarea including a new movie about Herod. End the day back in Netanya to enjoy beach time & fun.
Thu. Check out of Netanya hotel and drive to Tel Aviv for a tour of the Independence Trail and Old Jaffa – find out some of the secrets of the city. End the day exploring Bullet Factory in Rehovot. Return to Jerusalem for the remainder of the tour.
Fri. Free day to explore on your own.
Sat. Shabbat Shalom. Late check out and evening group transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for return flight home to arriving on Sun. morning.

Optional activities range in price from about $25 to $40 per person.
