Itinerary – Highlights

Sun – Schedule your departure to arrive in Israel for Monday morning pickup.

Mon – Arrival into Ben Gurion Airport late morning group transfer to Jerusalem Hotel.

Tue – Start the day at the Kotel – time for reflection. Enjoy the new sites of the Kotel Tunnels with the Great Bridge Tour, explore new sites in the Jewish Quarter that will take us to new finds and rooms from the second Temple, Roman Theatre and more. In the afternoon we will take a driven tour of Jerusalem and view the city from Nebi Samuel.

Wed – We will travel to Tel Aviv to Erans Angels logistics Center to volunteer. Tour the new Anu Museum and take historic walking tour of Old Jaffa this ancient port city. We will stop off at Hostage Square (if its still there – lets hope not) return to Jerusalem.

Thu – We will visit Kever Rachel and then continue on to Hevron for a tour and to Cave of Machpela. In the afternoon we will tour Gush Etzion including the Kfar Etzion visitor center and movie. We will bring snacks for the soldiers at the “Warm Corner” if time permitting optional ATV’s.

Fri – We will start at the Knesset Menorah, then pay our respects to the fallen soldiers on Mount Herzl. Continue to Michael Levine base – center for Lone Soldiers and bring them some treats. Take a walking tour in quaint Nachlaot neighborhoods. Enjoy the afternoon on your own in Machane Yehudah.

Sat – Shabbat Shalom – day of rest.

Sun – Western Negev area – Chizuk day at the Gaza Envelope, we will learn about the area and what happened on October 7 and pay respects. We will visit a Kibbutz, the Nova Music site, the Tkuma car cemetery, visit Sderot – meet with locals and hear about what happened and the hopes for the future, and take time to volunteer and help the local economy, before continuing to Netivot and then on to Eilat for the next few days.

Mon- Today we will enjoy the beauty of the Eilat Desert, at the Timna Nature Reserve – we will learn about copper mining throughout history in the visitor center. We will see the Solomn Pillars and have a chnace to create our own piece of sand art. At the Chai Bar we will see the biblical desert animals and have a safari ride to see them in their natural environment, a nice stop at that the Eilat Stone factory and then an optional boat ride on the Red Sea.

Tue – During a driven tour of Eilat we will stop for great views of the Red Sea and by the Egyptian border. We will enjoy free time at the special Underwater Observatory. Free afternoon. There will be an optional jeep ride with local guide (optional activities range from $25 to $45 per person). Optional full day tour to Petra from the hotel.

Wed – Making desert bloom – at Kibbutz Ktura we will learn about the Metuselah Date, desert farming and more. We will drive through the Negev to the impressive Ramon Crater and then to DAvid Ben Gurion’s hut in Sde Boker to learn about leadership. Return to Jerusalem and check back into hotel for remainder of the stay.

Thu – Rechovot was one of the first modern villages, founded in 1890 by Hovvie Zion it was always known for its pioneering spirit. We will spend the day exploring the secrets of the city. We will visit the Bullet Factory – the Ayalon Institue to hear about the creative ways the Hagana used in preparation for the war of Independence. We will visit a less known museum about the Yemenite community and Aliyah and we will spend time at the Weitzman Institute and hear about the cutting edge of science, and learn about our first president Chaim Weitzman and his contribution to the Balfour Declaration.

Fri – Free day to enjoy as you like. Explore Jerusalem old and new on your own taking in all the wonders of the city – check out the newest Kotel Tunnel tours, walk along the Ramparts to the Jewish Quarter or just sit and people watch in one of the many cafes like the local Israelis do on Friday afternoons before Shabbat.

Sat – Shabbat Shalom. Late check out and evening group transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for return flight home and arrival back on Sunday morning.

Join us in giving Chizuk and visit this historic time and showing that “WE STAND WITH ISRAEL”.

During our travels we will try to meet with people displaced by the situation and to help some of the small businesses that have been severly impacted by the events and help to re-stimulate the economy that has also taken a hard hit from the events of Oct. 7 and along the way we will volunteer and give Chizuk where needed. The events of Oct.7 have taken a toll on the entire nation lets show them that we are here by showing up and giving support in all ways that are needed.

Highlights

April 15 – We will start the day off exploring the Bullet Factory in Rechovot and the area connected with it. Afterwards we will conitnue to Old Jaffa for a historic walking tour of this ancient city then onto Tel Aviv to follow the Independence Trail – and learn some of the secrets of the city and the re-creation of the Modern State of Israel. We will end the day at the Yvel Megameria Ethiopian Jewelry factory and hear the story of their Aliyah.

April 16 – We will start the day with the panoramic voew of the Old City at the Has Promenade and then on to Rachel’s Tomb to visit and pray. Then drive to the village of Sussia and begin to explore this ancient city and area dating back to the Talmudic Times. From here we will continue to Hevron to the cave of Machpela with the unique chance of visiting the whole site – open ten days a year! On our way back we take a driven tour through Gush Etyzon (optional ATV in the area).

April 17 – Western Negev area – drive south and visit Kibbutzim – Moshavim shattered by October 7, 2023. Bring snacks to the soldiers at Shuva Junction, continue to Sderot and meet with the people and tour the city and give Chizuk as we tour the area.

Half the payment to be made by Dec. 31, 2024 & the balance paid by Jan. 31, 2025.

Tue – Jerusalem Day – New Kotel Tunnel Tour – the Great Bridge sites, learn about the water systems and structures, Roman Theatre and pristine Kotel Stones from the Second Temple area. Tour the Jewish Quarter and renewed Herodian quarter, enjoy the state of the art exhibits in the new David Citadel Museum.

Wed – Otef Azza- today we will play homage and hear stories of resilience from October 7, 2023 – Simchat Torah attack. We will visit the Sderot police station memorial and movie, pay respects at Tkuma Car Cemetery. At the Shuva junction we will meet with soldiers and volunteers and hear about the amazing chessed done daily. We will be at the Nova Festival site to bare witness and pay respects, and we will visit a local artist and help boost local economy.

Thu – Latrun – visit the new Jewish Fighters Museum; learn about the Jewish Soldiers during World War II (you may add your family story to the database). Enjoy olive oil tasting and visit donkeys at Meshek Garti, end the day at Yvel and hear the story of Megmaria Ethiopian Jewelry School.

Fri – Tour the new National Library, continue to Mt Herzl Cemetry and visit the Michael Levine base for lone soldiers were we will have a chance to meet with those who decided to leave help Israel. Free afternoon to explore Machane Yehuda and experience busy pre-Shabbat atmosphere.

Sat – Shabbat Shalom day of rest.

Sun – Check out of Jerusalem hotel. Travel to Tel Aviv Graffiti and Shuk Hacarmel Tour – street art and a fun market with the “Tel Aviv Vibrance”. Driven tour of Tel Aviv, visit the new Steinhardt Museum of Natural History – we will learn about the fauna in Israel with local guide. Continue to Netanya hotel overnight there.

Mon – Leket logistic center Gan Chayim – help sort and package produce for the needy, enjoy a stroll by Turtle Bridge Nature site on the Alexander stream. End the day at the Planatania Planetarium and Garden. Return to Netanya for overnight.

Tue – Explore Menashe region – start the day visiting Neve Michael children’s home, enjoy lunch break ate Cafe Tov on the premises of Shaar Mensahe Mental Hospital, enjoy seeing an artist at work Iron Monger Zeevik. Pay our respects and learn the history at the Border Police Museum. Overnight in Tiberias, optional boat ride on the Kinneret.

Wed – Explore the Upper Galil – Start the day in Meiron or other Holy site, then to Baraam Ancient Synagogue from Talmudic period, tour the Bar David Art & Judaica Museum. Enjoy a local winery, end the day with optional jeep/atv touring.

Thu – Tverya visit Kever Rabbi Akiva and Ramchal. Optional rafting on the Jordan, enjoy a visit to a choclate factory. Drop in on a new high school at Kfar Zeitim where the boys learn to be builders. Return to Jerusalem for remainder of the tour.

Fri – Free day to enjoy shopping and exploring Jerusalem.

Itinerary – Highlights

Sun – Schedule your departure to coincide with arrival into Israel on Monday. There will be one group pick up at the airport and this will be determined by the majority of the people arriving at the same time.

Mon – Arrival into Israel, (or if in Israel alread, make your way to Jerusalem) group transfer to Jerusalem and check into the hotel to unpack, relax or start to explore the city on your own, prepare to meet the group for dinner.

Tue – Jerusalem of Old – Walk on the Ramparts (climb on the 500 year old walls of Jerusalem) to the Jewish Quarter and tour ancient sites Mt. Zion King David’s Tomb, stopping for lunch in the area then going on to spend some spiritual time at the Kotel. End the day in the City of David and Hezekayas Water Tunnel (bring water proof shoes and flashlights). Optional evening sound and light show.

Wed – Tanach comes to life while visiting Kever Rocchel (Rachel’s Tomb) and then continue to Hevron – Cave of Machpela, say thanks to our brave soldiers and bring them treats at the warm corner. Explore Gush Eytzon and find out what is new & old in the area. End the day with optional ATV’s on Derech Haavot, Deerland rope course.

Thu – Desert Day – Early start to the day as we drive towards the lowest point on earth to explore the area. After a short hike at Ein Gedi Nature Reserver – hear the story of David hiding from Shaul, look for Ibex and Hyrax, we will continue to Massada Mountain Fortress. We will end the day trying to swim (float) in the Dead Sea. Optional camel riding opportunity.

Fri – Visit newly opened Biblical Tel LAchish – check out the Kings Chairs, enjoy the Biblical Natural History Museum – have a chance to pet and hold live animals and learn about the special animals of Israel. Check out what makes a Shofar Kosher and more. Return to hotel to prepare for Shabbat.

Sat – Shabbat Shalom day of rest.

Sun – Check out of hotel for northern journey. Drive via Route 6 – follow the ancient Via Maris Sea Road to Kfar Kedem – go back to Mishnaic period riding donkeys and making food ancient way. Then continue on to Tzippori – home of Rabbi Yehuda Hanasi – check out the stunning mosaics and join the Mishna discussions with an interactive game. Travel to Tverya optional boat ride and free time overnight in Tiberias for a two night stay.

Mon – Lower Golan Adventure. Hike through Tel Dan Nature Reserve – one of the Jordan River tributaries, dare to enter the freezing wading pool. Optional rafting on the Jordan River or jeeping in the area. Continue to Lunch and tour of Kiryat Shmona bringing chizuk to the area drive to overlook Lebanon. Return to Tverya hotel.

Tue – Check out of the hotel and drive to Tzefat to explore the area with hands on activities and learn about the Golden Age of this mystical city and find out where Lecha Dodi was first sung. We will have a special visit to Otzer haStam in honor of the Bar and Bat Mitzvahs meet a Sofer StaM and write. Continue down the coast to Netanya and overnight in the city.

Wed – We will enjoy some early morning beach time. We will drive to Chana Senesh house in Sdot Yam to learn about the famous paratrooper. Explore the ancient Roman city of Ceasarea including a new movie about Herod. End the day back in Netanya and overnight in the city.

Thu – Check out of Netanya hotel and drive to Tel Aviv – experience the lives of youngsters that help build the State of Israel at the Palmach Museum. Lunch at Shuk Hacarmel, follow the Golden Bricks of Independance Trail. Explore Old Jaffa and hear the story of Yona and the whale. Return to Jerusalem.

Fri – Free day to explore on your own.
