Highlights of the tour
(detailed itinerary to follow)
Mon. We book your departure to schedule your arrival into Israel for Tuesday.
Tue. Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, or if in Israel already, make your way to Jerusalem and
check into the Kings Hotel to unpack and prepare to meet the group for dinner.
Wed. Jerusalem – an all new adventure – visit Levi Eshkol’s house, Islamic Art Museum.
Continue to the Old City to Plugot HaKotel experience and renewed Burnt House.
Thu. Drive to Arad and explore the surrounding area, visit to a Glass Museum, Biblical Tel,
sample some wine at the Yatir winery and tour the town of Arad.
Fri. Leave Jerusalem for Shabbat at Kibbutz Lavi but on our way we will stop at Meiron for
a post-Lag B’Omer visit.
Sat. Shabbat Shalom at Kibbutz Lavi.
Sun. Golan Heights area. Visit Tel Saki – and hear the story of the Yom Kippur War bravery
that happened here. New visitor center at Un El Kanatir Talmudic synagogue. Meet
locals at one of the communities. Optional rafting on the Jordan River. Returning to
Kibbutz Lavi.
Mon. Tel Haztor, visit Tzefat and meet with someone from Ascent or Livnot. Return to
Kibbutz Lavi.
Tue. Follow the new Sanhedrin path, visit Usha dig. Shfraam Ancient Synagogue, Beit
Shearim or Tzippori. Overnight at the Rimonim in
Akko.
Wed. Travel to the Rosh Hanikra Grottoes and tour the Old City of Akko and the Ramhal
Synagogue. Overnight in Hadera.
Thu. Some of the following – optional Tornado Boat, optional – Tuktuk Alona electric
buggies. Take a nature drive, and if open, visit Hanna Senesh Museum in Kibbutz Sdot
Yam. Turtle Bridge, Orot Rabin electric plant visitor center, Ein Shemer Kibbutz
museum including retirees art workshop. Overnight in Hadera.
Friday – Late start – return to Jerusalem to arrive in time for Shabbat.
Sat. – Shabbat Shalom.
Sun. Yom Yerushalayim – Hevron, Holy Cacao, Rachel’s Tomb. Farewell dinner and
evening transfer to airport.
These are some of the main highlights of the tour. A more detailed itinerary will be sent out
when more of the touring sites are finalized.
General Information
Please add $50 registration fee (non-refundable).
Price based on double occupancy, single room occupants are subject to a single supplement.
Discount for children under 12.
Daily trips throughout the country.
2 Kosher meals per day – breakfast and dinner – Shabbat day lunch.
One group transfer from and to the airport in Israel
(group pickup will be determined by the majority of people arriving at the same time).
Tour entrance fees included. Touring by air-conditioned bus, with licensed English speaking guides.
Lectures and group discussions. Free time.
Prices, itinerary, flight assignment and departure dates are subject to change.
Changes or cancellation of airline tickets could incur penalties.
Please refer to cancellation policy on the back of the reservation form.
Payments:
One half of the full cost to be paid at registration.
The second half of the cost to be paid 2 months prior to departure.
Cancellation within six weeks of departure will incur a penalty of $200.
