Sun. Feb. 23 Book your departure to schedule your arrival into Israel for Monday or we can also help you book your flights.

Mon. Feb. 24 Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Group pick-up from the airport. We will start the tour with a visit to the archeological ruins of ancient Caesarea and a visit to the special Rally Museum. Overnight at the Ramada Resort Hotel in Hadera.

Tue. Feb 25 Check out of hotel and head towards Tiberias stopping along the way to visit the bird migration at Agmon Hula and the tomb of Rabbi Meir Baal Haness. Visit Hamat Tveria, spend some free time on the boardwalk, optional boat ride on the Kinneret. Overnight in Kibbutz Lavi Hotel.

Wed. Feb. 26 A full day on the Golan Heights. Travel to Mt. Ben Tal Volcano and take in a view into Syria, then drive to Bikat Ram Lake. Continue to Katzrin for lunch and Kesem Hagolan movie. Spend the afternoon at Um el Kanatir [Ein Kshatot] Talmudic era synagogue and visit the Natur pre-army Midrasha to meet with the youngsters. Optional jeep tour. Return to Kibbutz Lavi Hotel.

Thu. Feb. 27 Morning tour of Kibbutz Lavi, continue on to the mystical city of Zafat and the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. Drive along the Jordan Valley stopping at Kaser El Yahud on the Jordan River – site of Joshua’s crossing and Eliyahu’s departure. Check into the Leonardo Plaza at the Dead Sea.

Fri. Feb. 28 Desert Day – Drive through the Judean Desert to Ein Gedi Oasis for a short hike. Continue to explore Masada Mountain Fortress, experience floating on the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem and check into the Kings Hotel.

Sat. Feb. 29 Shabbat Shalom – free day.

Sun. Mar. 1 Jerusalem of Old – Enjoy the view of the Old City from Mount Scopus, participate in the Emek Tzurim sifting project, revealing artifacts from the Temple Mount. Drive to the Jewish Quarter and tour the area spending spiritual time at the Kotel. End the day at the City of David including walking through Hezekiah’s
water tunnels.

 

Mon. Mar. 2 We will start the day at Kever Rochel. From here we continue to the city of Hevron. We will visit the Cave of Machpela and tour the Avraham Avinu neighborhood. In Gush Etzyon we will have a chance to visit the Pina Charma center for soldiers and bring them some goodies and see a new movie about the heroic stand
in 1948 at Kfar Etzyon. We will end our tour at Lone Tree. Optional ATVs.

Tue. Mar. 3 Late start – Tel Aviv – start the day with a visit to the Shalom Tower and the official Independence Hall – temporary museum. Enjoy a walk following the Independence Trail and then a visit to Herz-Lillianblum Bank Museum – the history of Israel through an economic lens. From there we will drive to Old Jaffa to tour the ancient port with free time to explore the Flea Market

Wed. Mar. 4 Beer Sheva – Drive down to Beer Sheva to explore the old and new trade route. Continue to Tel Sheva – Biblical Beer Sheva. Walk through the site and climb down the water system. Lunch in Beer Sheva. Visit the unique village of Nevatim and learn about Kuchin Jews.

Thu. Mar. 5 We will start the day off with a visit to the Herzl Museum – an interactive experience of the first steps of modern Israel. We will continue to the Stalagmite Caves – bring your imagination. Then continue to the Bar Kochbah Caves and Beit Guvrin National Park and find out why this place was always settled and how along the ages the natural hills were used above and below ground.

Fri. Mar. 6 Free Day – in Jerusalem to explore the city on your own, to shop, revisit museums or other sites of interest. Spend the afternoon like an Israeli having coffee in one of the many cafes in the area or check out the pre-Shabbat activity at Machane Yehuda market.

Sat. Mar. 7 Shabbat Shalom. Day at leisure. Evening group transfer to the airport for return flight back home.

For anyone wishing to extend on their own to experience Purim in Israel it starts the
night of March 9 and Shushan Purim (in Yerushalayim is March 11 by day).

Please add $50 registration fee (non-refundable).

Price based on double occupancy, single room occupants are subject to a single supplement.

Discount for children under 12.

Daily trips throughout the country.

2 Kosher meals per day – breakfast and dinner – Shabbat day lunch.

One group transfer from and to the airport in Israel

(group pickup will be determined by the majority of people arriving at the same time).

Tour entrance fees included.  Touring by air-conditioned bus, with licensed English speaking guides.

Lectures and group discussions. Free time.

Prices, itinerary, flight assignment and departure dates are subject to change.

Changes or cancellation of airline tickets could incur penalties.

Please refer to cancellation policy on the back of the reservation form.

Payments:

$100 Deposit per person with registration. One half of the balance is due 2 months prior to departure.

Full balance is to be paid 1 month before departure.

Cancellation within six weeks of departure will incur a penalty of $200.
