Sun.    We book your departure to schedule your arrival into Israel for Monday.

Mon.   Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport or, if in Israel already, make your way to Jerusalem and check into hotel of your choice to unpack and prepare to meet the group for dinner.

Tue.    New Jerusalem: We will start the tour with a stroll along the Haas promenade, overlooking Jerusalem from the south. Then we will drive to Gilo, one of the ring neighborhoods, where we will view the new city and understand the layout of Jerusalem. We will then proceed to the historical museum of the Holocaust, Yad Vashem.After lunch we will hear about the Zionist dream at the Herzl museum and will end the day at the Knesset Menorah.

Wed.   Breaking the siege: Driving west on route number one we will visit the village of Motza and the Yvel jewelry factory to hear story of active Zionism from 1894 – the Bnei Brit pioneers to Olim from Argentina and Ethiopia.After enjoying the tour we will visit the Castel memorial to learn about the 1948 battle to open the road to Jerusalem, then we will drive via Latrun and Hulda. In the afternoon we will explore the city of Ramle, founded in the eighth century, and a big Karaite center. We will end the day at a local winery.

Thur.  Settling the swamps: We will drive north via route 6 to the town of Hadera founded in 1891.We will learn about the first aliya in a museum dedicated to the town history. We will enjoy a stroll through the beautiful Ramat Hanadiv gardens and visit Rothchild’s mausoleum, paying respects to the Yishuv’s benefactor. We will end the day at Cesarea – Herod’s port city.

Fri.      Old city of Jerusalem: Today we will spend the day in the old city. After a walking tour of the Jewish Quarter we will explore the Kotel tunnels and walk the length of the Western Wall, then continue to the Davidson Center to learn about the southern wall excavation new finds.

            The bus will have a drop off at Machane Yehuda market for those who want to see Jerusalem preparing for Shabbat.

Sat.     Shabbat Shalom

Sun.    Southward bound: Check out of Jerusalem hotel. Drive to Mount of Olives to view the Temple Mount from the east, then drive to the Judean desert. Enjoy a short hike at the Ein Gedi nature reserve, home to hyrax and ibex. We will then continue to Massada mountain fortress for an in depth tour discussing the turbulent last years of the second temple period and the symbol of Massada. We will arrive in the  late afternoon to the Dead Sea spa hotel. Be sure to book treatments in advance. Overnight at the Dead Sea.

Mon.   After  a late start to enjoy the benefits of the Dead Sea we will visit the Dead Sea Works – one of the world’s major suppliers of potash and magnesium. Then we will drive south through the Arava valley to Kibbutz Ketura to learn about innovation in the desert and meet Metuselah – a 2000-year-old tree, then on to Eilat. Overnight in Eilat.

Tue.    We will start the day in the Eilat museum to learn about the modern history of Israel’s most southern city.We will enjoy the amazing underwater observatory, seeing the reef fish in their natural environment.In the afternoon we can enjoy an optional jeep ride, or enjoy some free time. Overnight in Eilat.

Wed.   On the way north we will explore the beauty of the Timna valley including Salomons pillars then we will drive via the Negev to the Ramon crater and go to the visitor center dedicated to the Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon From there we will overlook the Zin valley and pay respects to our first prime minister Ben Gurion and return to Jerusalem.

Thur.  We will start the day by driving to Kever Rachel then continue to the city of  Hevron. We will visit the  cave of Machpela and tour the Avraham Avinu neighbourhood. In Gush Etzyon we will have a chance to visit the Pina Chama center for soldiers and bring them some goodies. We will see the new movie about the heroic stand in 1948 at Kfar Etzyon and end our tour at the Lone tree.

Fri.      Free day.

Sat.     Shabbat Shalom. Evening checkout from hotel and transfer to airport.

Please add $50 registration fee (non-refundable).

Price based on double occupancy, single room occupants are subject to a single supplement.

Discount for children under 12.

Daily trips throughout the country.

2 Kosher meals per day – breakfast and dinner – Shabbat day lunch.

One group transfer from and to the airport in Israel

(group pickup will be determined by the majority of people arriving at the same time).

Tour entrance fees included.  Touring by air-conditioned bus, with licensed English speaking guides.

Lectures and group discussions. Free time.

Prices, itinerary, flight assignment and departure dates are subject to change.

Changes or cancellation of airline tickets could incur penalties.

Please refer to cancellation policy on the back of the reservation form.


$100 Deposit per person with registration. One half of the balance is due 2 months prior to departure.

Full balance is to be paid 1 month before departure.

Cancellation within six weeks of departure will incur a penalty of $200.
