ITINERARY

(for two week tour)

Sun. Departure from NY on El Al Israel Airlines.

Mon. Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Transfer to Jerusalem hotels.

Tue. Jerusalem old and new: We will visit the Jewish Quarter and Kotel Tunnels in the morning hours then drive via Government Hill to Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum.

Wed. Northern bound: We will leave Jerusalem and travel via route 6 to explore Tel Meggido – biblical chariot city. From there we will visit a robotic milking farm at Kfar Yechezkel and end the day at the ancient synagogue of Beit Alpha. Overnight in Kibbutz Lavi.

Thur. Drive to Meiron tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. Continue to tour mystical city of Tzefat. From there drive down to Hula Valley to experience the winter bird migration at Agmon Hahula. Return to Jerusalem via Jordan Valley.

Fri. Explore Rechovot area and visit pre-1948 clandestine bullet factory at Machon Ayalon.

Sat. Shabbat Shalom.

Sun. Southern trip: Leave Jerusalem to Judean Desert and visit Ein Gedi. Explore Massada Mountain fortress. Float in the Dead Sea. Drive to Eilat via Arava Valley.

Mon. Driven tour of Eilat. Underwater observatory. Optional jeep ride and diving. Overnight in Eilat.

Tue. Visit Timna Nature Park. Drive via Dimona to ancient Nabatean city of Mamsheet. Drive via Beer Sheva to Jerusalem.

Wed. Tel Aviv 100: Drive through the city to Batei Haosef Army Museum. Walk through first neighborhoods of the city. Tour old and new Jaffa and meet with new residents.

Thur. Overlook Jerusalem from Haas Promenade. Visit Kever Rachel. Continue to Hevron and Cave of Machpela. Return via Gush Etzion.

Fri. Day of leisure.

Sat. Shabbat Shalom. Saturday night transfer to airport.

Please add $50 registration fee (non-refundable); and $95 airport tax per person.

$330 fuel tax per person.

This could go up or down depending on the market demand for fuel at the time of departure.

Price based on double occupancy, single room occupants are subject to a single supplement.

Discount for children under 12.

Daily trips throughout the country.

2 Kosher meals per day – Breakfast and Dinner, Shabbat – Breakfast and Lunch.

Group transfer from and to the airport in Israel.

Tour entrance fees included. Touring by air-conditioned bus, with licensed English speaking guides.

Lectures and group discussions. Free time.

Prices, itinerary, flight assignment and departure dates are subject to change.

Payments:

$100 Deposit per person with registration. One half of the balance is due 2 months prior to departure.

Full balance is to be paid 1 month before departure.

Cancellation within 21 days of departure will incur a penalty of $200.
