ITINERARY – SUMMER/FALL 2017
Sun. We book your departure to schedule your arrival into Israel for Monday.
Mon. Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport – Group transfer to hotel, or if in Israel already, make your way to Jerusalem and check into hotel of your choice to unpack and prepare to meet the group for dinner.
Tue. Binyamin region – extensive tour of Shilo – site of the Mishkan, tour the ancient tel and see movie, drive to new Shilo, continue to goat farm in Adei Ad for some tasting. Meet with local artist in Kida, lunch in the town of Ariel. Visit Tura winery. Meet with local resident of Eli, return to Jerusalem.
Wed. Jerusalem of Old – enjoy the view of the Old City from Mount Scopus. Participate in the Emek Tzurim sifting project, revealing artifacts from the Temple Mount. Drive to the Jewish Quarter, tour and lunch. Spend some spiritual time at the Kotel. End the day in the City of David including Hezekaya’s water tunnel.
Thu. Judean Desert – drive through the desert to the Ein Gedi oasis for a short hike. Continue to Massada mountain fortress. End the day floating on the Dead Sea.
Fri. Tel Aviv – drive to the city. Visit Independence Hall and tour Little Tel Aviv. Enjoy some beach time.
Sat. Shabbat Shalom
Sun. Head to the North – Leave Jerusalem hotel. Drive via Route 6 to Tel Meggido. Explore the ancient city. Enjoy a short hike at Nahal Hashofet. Visit the Silk and Honey center at Shadmot Devora, Overnight in the north.
Mon. Continue exploring the North – Visit the Second Temple period synagogue of Migdal, optional: cross the Sea of Galilee from Ginnosar to Ein Gev, drive to the Golan heights to Gamla overlook. Walk through the Mei Eden springs. Visit Katzrin – capital of the Golan. Optional rafting down the Jordan River. Overnight in the north.
Tue. Visit the Mystical city of Tzefat – then hike the Mount Meiron summit trail. Drive to explore the old city of Akko including the market and Ramchal synagogue, Overnight in Haifa.
Wed. Start the day with pool time – then continue the morning at Eliyahu’s cave, tour of Naval museum, drive up the Carmel. Visit Hecht museum in Haifa university. Drive through a Druze village and learn about this special group. Visit the Muchraka – site of Eliyahu’s contest with the prophets of Baal. Return to Jerusalem.
Thu. Start the day at Kever Rachel – then drive to south Mount Hevron to visit Susiya. Enjoy a tour at “Holy Cacao”. Drive to Hevron to Cave of Machpela before returning to Jerusalem.
Fri. Free Day.
Sat. Shabbat Shalom: Enjoy your last Shabbat in Yerushalayim. Evening checkout and transfer to airport.

Daily trips throughout the country.
2 Kosher meals per day – breakfast and dinner – Shabbat day lunch.
One group transfer from and to the airport in Israel
(group pickup will be determined by the majority of people arriving at the same time).
Tour entrance fees included. Touring by air-conditioned bus, with licensed English speaking guides.
Lectures and group discussions. Free time.

Changes or cancellation of airline tickets could incur penalties.

$100 Deposit per person with registration. One half of the balance is due 2 months prior to departure.
Full balance is to be paid 1 month before departure.
Cancellation within six weeks of departure will incur a penalty of $200.
